Commitment to Learning
One of Accuity’s highest priorities is to ensure that our employees will be the most qualified professionals in Hawaii.  We will accomplish this through valuable work experience complimented with on-the-job coaching, exceptional training, and cutting edge technology.  

Work Experience – Due to the size of clients in the Hawaii market, you’ll get the chance to be a part of many teams and client assignments throughout the year.  Your exposure to clients across many industries will give you significant opportunities to learn about their businesses and develop relationships. 

Task and Responsibilities – As a new associate, you will be given distinct tasks and responsibilities early on.  As you advance, your responsibilities will increase, and you will become a leader and decision maker with more challenging assignments and tasks.  The variety of tasks you’ll experience during the first few years will enable you to build a foundation from which you can gain an even greater understanding of business.  

Formal and Informal Coaching and Mentoring –Take advantage of the coaching, mentoring, and experiences of senior members on your client assignments.  In addition, you’ll have your own mentor and coach who will be there for additional help and to guide you throughout your career.

Training -"Accuity University” will have an annual, week-long, off-island training and monthly seminars on "hot" topics that affect Hawaii businesses.  Training sessions will be instructed by high-quality consulting firms and faculty "advisors" from top universities that will consult with us on our annual curriculum.

Commitment to Health

We understand that people is our most valuable asset.  Through our "Take Care of Yourself in 2007" initiative and other firmwide activities, we are committed to the physical and emotional wellness of our employees.  Here are some ways we encourage our employees to stay active!

Get Mov'in Mondays:  Employees of all fitness levels are welcome to join us for a walk/run around Kaka'ako Park or Ala Moana Beach Park.  We meet at our main office or at the client site to walk, run and do strength training exercises as a group. 

Accounting Softball League:  Join our Accuity Softball Team!  Our softball season runs from July through September, with playoffs during the month of October.  Our softball team won the 2006 HSCPA accounting league softball championship and defeated the Lawyer's league to become the overall Professional Cup champions.   Help us defend our title next Summer!
           
Accounting Basketball League:  Join our basketball team or just cheer them on!  Our basketball season runs from August through October, with playoffs during the month of November.
