Internships
Our internship programs are designed to provide you with a feel for what a typical full-time professional would do on a daily basis. This could include attending client meetings, conducting research, evaluating client information, preparing tax returns or documenting observations made at a client site.
Your intern experience will also provide opportunities to participate in our office community service activities, social events and athletic activities such as softball, basketball, golf, hiking and running. In addition, you will have the opportunity to provide input into office initiatives, activities, policies and procedures by participating in our office committees.
Expectations:
As an intern, we do not expect you to know everything. We DO expect you to:
- Demonstrate and apply a basic understanding of accounting or tax principles
- Approach your assignments with a positive and professional attitude
- Contribute positively to the team effort
- Look for the opportunity to learn something new with every assignment
Our Commitment to You:
To help you get the most out of your internship, we commit to provide:
- Challenging opportunities and experiences to prepare you for your career
- Continuous access to Accuity professionals to provide on-the-job training, and discuss your career and personal goals
- Constructive feedback designed to enhance your professional development
Accuity LLP offers two types of internships:
Full-Time Summer Internships
Part-Time Internships year-round
Summer Internships
Accuity LLP’s formal internship program runs for approximately 10 weeks during your summer break. As a summer intern, you will experience the daily life of an Accuity professional, with hands-on technical work and opportunities to participate in community service, social and athletic events. Our interns are encouraged to take part in a variety of office initiatives and activities, and to have input into policies and procedures by participating in our office committees. You may choose to get experience working in audit, tax and/or consulting, depending on your interests, educational focus and skills.
Our summer internships are generally reserved for students who will be entering their final year of school following their internship.
