Kent is the Managing Partner of Accuity LLP. Kent was with PricewaterhouseCoopers since 1978, four of which were in the Los Angeles office. His clients include individuals, partnerships, estates, trusts, corporations and nonprofit organizations. His practice includes technology companies, structuring complex business transactions, real estate investment and construction, nonprofit enterprises and estate and personal financial planning.

Kent is a technical speaker on tax and accounting issues for the Hawaii Society of CPAs as well as the Hawaii Institute for Continuing Legal Education. He has published technical articles in U.S. and Japanese business journals. He is an inductee into the University of Hawaii College of Business Administration Alumni Hall of Honor as an Outstanding Alumni and is a 2006 recipient of the University of Hawaii Alumni Association Distinguished Alumni Award.
