Job Overview

Work with the HR and Admin team to support the Firm’s HR function and culture initiatives.

 

Specific Responsibilities

  • Human Resources:
    • Onboarding
      • Prepare and manage pre-hire paperwork
      • Assist with orientation activities and coordination
    • Terminations – prepare paperwork and process benefits terminations
    • Benefits Administration
      • Develop basic understanding of benefits plans, to be able to respond to staff questions
      • Initiate benefits enrollments, changes, terminations
      • Work with vendors to resolve issues and problems
      • Maintain current benefits information on intranet
    • Maintain required legal postings
  • Branding:
    • Assist with maintaining social media presence and postings
    • Assist with development of quarterly newsletter
    • Provide suggestions and ideas to support branding initiatives
  • Recruiting:
    • Assist in coordinating recruiting events and activities
  • Audit Practice Support:
    • Assist with client engagement scheduling
    • Assist with managing the staff performance evaluation process
  • Training and Professional Certifications:
    • Set up in-house and annual training programs
    • Maintain training documentation
    • Manage self-study training programs
    • Track CPE compliance and licensing status
  • General Office Support:
    • Assist with meeting coordination, including catering orders
    • Assist with reception, phone and mail duties and other activities to support the practice

 

You’re a great fit if you have:

  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using Microsoft word processing and spreadsheet applications

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Communications or other relevant major (or equivalent experience)
